Youth Pastor Position

 

Contra Costa United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered, and spiritually mature individual to serve as our Youth Pastor (or Youth Directer) and lead the next generation in their faith journey.

 

Position

Part-time

Youth Ministry (Middle School & High School)

Qualifications:

A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a vibrant personal faith.

A heart for discipling and mentoring youth.

Graduate of an accredited seminary or currently enrolled in a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological degree program.

Previous experience in youth ministry is preferred.

Able to preach and teach God's Word in English. Korean language ability is helpful but not required.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead weekly youth worship services and Bible studies.

Develop and oversee youth discipleship and outreach programs.

Build meaningful relationships with students and their families.

Recruit, train, and support volunteer teachers and ministry leaders.

Collaborate with the pastoral staff and church leadership in fulfilling the church's mission.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

콘트라 코스타 연합감리교회는 다음 세대가 예수 그리스도의 제자로 성장하도록 사랑과 헌신으로 섬길, 신앙이 성숙하고 그리스도 중심의 열정을 가진 청소년부 사역자(Youth Pastor 또는 Youth Director)를 청빙하고자 합니다.

 

모집 분야

파트타임(Part-time)

청소년부 사역 (중·고등학생)

지원 자격

예수 그리스도를 인격적으로 믿고 신실한 신앙생활을 하는 분

청소년을 사랑하며 제자훈련과 양육에 헌신할 마음을 가진 분

정규 신학교 졸업자 또는 목회학 석사(M.Div.) 과정이나 이에 준하는 신학 과정에 재학 중인 분

청소년 사역 경험이 있는 분을 우대합니다.

영어로 설교와 성경공부를 인도할 수 있는 분
(한국어 가능자는 우대하지만 필수는 아닙니다.)

미국 내에서 합법적으로 사역할 수 있는 자격을 갖춘 분

담당 사역

주일 청소년 예배 및 성경공부 인도

청소년 제자훈련 및 전도 프로그램 기획과 운영

학생들과 가정을 위한 목회적 돌봄 및 관계 형성

교사와 자원봉사 리더를 모집하고 훈련하며 지원

담임목사 및 교회 리더십과 협력하여 교회의 사명을 함께 이루어 감
